This is the kind of song that comes out of me whenever I want to write something that represents the Lord's presence. When I recorded it, I felt a sense of His presence hovering or brooding over something, not unlike what's described in Genesis 1:2.
Towards the end though, it seemed to spread out and become brighter, intense and more glorious than when I'd started. I started to imagine what it would be like being among those in Heaven; to one day behold the Lord in all His glory and worship Him there and then, and for eternity.
And now, after writing this, it's a little bit ironic that I titled it 'Be still'!
