Sanguine is a song not just about the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ ('sanguine' meaning 'bloody' or 'red'). While it was all too easy to romanticise crucifixion through the medium of music, I chose to be moved by the implications of what Jesus did. I get to live freely, unconditionally loved by the Father, no longer enslaved to fear and the forces of the world.
Oh, and thanks to my wonderful friend Diana for lending me her dulcet tones too. You jus da bes mayn! ^-^
